Woolworths brought in celebrity chef and TV host Hayden Quinn to headline their Fresh magazine’s summer campaign — a vibrant, lifestyle-driven editorial celebrating multicultural Australian cuisine and relaxed seasonal entertaining. I was engaged by Woolworths to work directly with their Creative Director and design and produce the 12-page main feature, which marked a notable evolution in the magazine’s art direction.

My role began with translating the client brief into a clear, actionable direction for the creative team. This included developing reference mood boards, annotated mock-ups, and detailed briefing documents for a three-location lifestyle and food photography shoot — ensuring strong alignment across photography, styling, and layout vision.

I then designed and produced the feature from concept to final production, introducing a refreshed visual design that balanced editorial clarity with the warmth and vibrancy of Hayden’s tone and recipes. The final outcome captured the spirit of the Australian summer through bold typography, rich photography, and a clean, modern layout system that elevated the brand while staying reader-friendly.
